PDCL Employees’ Recreation club is formed with the aim to promote unity, sympathy, fellow feelings and foster relationship among the employees of WBPDCL. The Recreation club boosts the moral, social and cultural health of the company by organizing various cultural programme , annual picnic , indoor and outdoor games , sit and draw competitions for children , felicitate students qualifying board exams, maintains library and, gymnasium for improving physical health and enriching knowledge of members . The club provides subsidized guest houses to members and their relatives at various places including Mumbai guest house for cancer patients and their relatives only. It provides grants and financial relief to cancer patients. The club provides an opportunity to enhance inner talents within its members by organizing in-house programme and annual sports with the members and their family. The main aim is to provide a source of recreation to do away with the monotony in the work environment.
